These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Life’s Next Stage (“we”, “us”, or “our”) to our clients (“you” or “your”). By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Services Provided
We offer the following services:
Decluttering and Downsizing: Support in sorting, organising, and reducing possessions.
Property Sale Preparation: Assistance with presentation, minor improvements, and staging guidance.
Moving Services: Coordination and support with packing, moving day logistics, and resettling.
The scope of services will be outlined in a written quote or agreement prior to commencement.
3. Bookings and Payment
All prices quoted are exclusive of GST
A written quote will be provided before work begins.
A deposit of 25% is required to be paid within 7 days of quote acceptance. This ensures your booking is secure.
Additional fees may apply for unexpected tasks or additional services not included in the original agreement. Clients will be notified as soon as practical of any additional fees.
Full payment is due within 7 days of work been completed.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
A cancellation fee of 50% will apply if cancellations are not made at least 48 hours in advance.
We reserve the right to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, in which case we will offer alternative dates promptly.
5. Client Responsibilities
You must provide clear access to the property and relevant areas.
You must disclose any health, safety, or security risks relevant to the property.
You must ensure legal ownership and give consent for any items being decluttered.
6. Third-Party Services
If third-party contractors (e.g. removalists, cleaners, repair services) are arranged, we act only as coordinators unless otherwise stated.
We are not liable for their performance or any damage caused by their services.
All service fees are the client’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed.
7. Limitation of Liability
While we take care in delivering our services, we are not liable for any accidental damages or breakages that may occur. Clients will be notified promptly of any such incidents.
We are not responsible for damage to property or possessions unless due to our proven negligence.
You agree to indemnify us for any claims arising from your breach of these terms.
8. Confidentiality and Privacy
We will respect the privacy of all clients in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020. We will handle all personal and sensitive information confidentially.
Photos or testimonials may be used in marketing only with your written consent.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand and any disputes will be handled in the appropriate jurisdiction.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms. The latest version will be available on our website or provided upon request.
